THESSALY. Gomphoi-Philippolis. Circa 306-283 BC. Trichalkon (Bronze, 21 mm, 7.36 g, 1 h). Head of a nymph facing slightly to left. Rev. ΓOMΦEΩN Zeus Palamnaios seated left on throne, holding thunderbolt in right hand and scepter in left. BCD I 1044. BCD II 70. Rogers 220. Pleasant green patina. The obverse softly struck, otherwise, very fine.
